Arthur Adams is one of my favorite comic artists. But for all the great lineswork he displays I`ve never seen anyone do a good coloring job on his works. On the contrary - color absolutely ruins his pencils. So I`m doing a series of some half dozen pieces on Arhtur Adams, in which I try to find out what might-could-shoud be a way to do the man justice colorwise. Here`s the first one.
Leia definitely pops off the green background,
Awesome first attempt!
This is magnificent.
Damn, now that is sexy! Well done on the colors!
You know it's true, and I never thought of it before. Well, sort of- I recently reread all my favourite comics of his from the 80s- Longshot and the Asgard Saga from New Mutants and X-Men, and the colors are terrible- a relic of the era, undoubtedly, but still, it would be nice to see those issues "remastered" with good colors.
